She was brought up in Carradale, but by the time of her marriage she was grocer in Glasgow.
He probably lived all his life in Carradale, & was a shepherd.
He probably spent all his life in Carradale, where he was a crofter.
He lived at Aird, Carradale in 1770, and later in Kilmichael. I don’t feel I have proved he is the father of my Dugald PATERSON, but the Aird connection lends support.
