Maria SIM

She was brought up in the town of Elgin. Although she married in Glasgow, her husband was also from Elgin. She was a dressmaker at the time of her marriage.

Margaret SIM

She spent her early years in Pluscarden, Elgin, but then moved into town.

Alexander SIM

He may have been born and brought up in Plusarden, Elgin, but he married in Dallas, where he lived for some time before moving to Elgin. In the 1881 census he was in Govan, Glasgow. He was a blacksmith.

William SIM

He lived in various houses in Pluscarden, including Barnhill, Whiterashes and Hillhall. In 1812 he was described as a weaver, but all other references say he was a farmer.

George SIM

Only known address was Barnhill, Pluscarden, where he was a farmer.

James SIM

He lived at various addresses in Pluscarden, of which the last known was Barnhill. He was a farmer.

John SIM

He was probably a farmer, and lived at a number of addresses in Pluscarden, including Auchtertyre, Achlorys?, and Whitefield
