Wednesday Plan
Breakfast is available from 0745 to 0900.
Departure and Travel
We will leave the hotel at 0915 and drive to the car park at Worth Matravers. This is not pay and display, but you are asked to put £2 in an honesty box. We hope to be walking by 0945.
The Walk
Today‘s walk is based on one from the Walking 4 Softies website, but the most scenic part above Chapman’s Pool has been omitted because the hills were far too demanding. We leave the village and walk by an easy track to the coastguard station at St Aldhem’s Head. We then follow the coast path to Winspit, from which we return to the village. Lunch
The pub in Worth Matravers is very welcoming to walkers and cyclists, but has a very limited food menu. We could choose between two pies, with no accompaniments, or a piece of cake. There is also a tearoom, but the lunch menu I can find does not have any sandwiches.

Evening
Dinner will be at 1900.
