Before her marriage she lived in Dublin, but then moved to Kidsgrove, Staffordshire. After her husband’s death she moved to Derby.
He was variously described as an engine fitter, a white smith, and a mechanic. He is known to have lived in Manchester, Liverpool, and Dublin.
He is known to have been a coffee roaster in Manchester.
